Sizing Screen Accurate Footwear

Shoes and boots are quite difficult things to buy, ill fitting ones can be extremely painful to wear for any period of time and different manufacturers often have slightly different sizing. To combat this I've put together a table of how different screen accurate manufacturers fit relative to each other, if you own one pair from this list it should provide you with an idea how other brands will fit relative to the ones you already own. For example, in my experience a size 10 by Loake fits much the same as a size 11 by Converse.

Note that this table is based on my own observations of how shoes I either own or have at least tried on fit me personally. For reference, I'm a size 11 about two thirds of the time however I sometimes find size 10 to be a better fit. I have relatively wide feet so your experiences may be different to mine depending on your foot shape. As you can see, Dr. Martens don't quite have a perfect size for me as they don't do half-sizes above ten.
